Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha at St. George’s consists of eight sessions, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’
We’d love to invite you to join us on Wednesdays. It’s a great opportunity to find out more about faith and ask the big questions of life, all from the comfort of your own home as we will be linking up through Zoom.
The next Alpha starts on April 15th and you can sign up below or get in touch to know more.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
You don’t have to commit for the whole term – just pop on for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
Due to the guidance on physical distancing, we will be running our Alpha course online through Zoom. You will receive a link to join in from the comfort of your own home.
Alpha is completely free of charge.
Alpha at St. George’s will run for a total of 9 weeks.
Alpha starts on Wednesday 15th Alpha, 7:30-9:00pm.
What if I missed the first week?
It doesn’t matter if you missed the first week of Alpha – you can catch up online at any point. Anyone is able to register up until session 4; after that we would encourage you to sign up for our next term and join in from session 1.
