In The Power of the Spirit
Rich continues our new series, Naturally Supernatural, looking at Luke:4:14-21 as Jesus returns from the wilderness in the power of the Spirit. What does operating in the power of the spirit look like and how do we access the power of the Spirit once filled?
Reread Luke 4:1,2 and 14-21. What is God saying to you through this passage?
The power of the Spirit in the life of Jesus leads to good news being proclaimed to the poor, forgiveness and pardon for the captive, recovery of sight, release and freedom for those burdened and oppressed, and the announcement of the lord’s favour. What does this tell us about the work of the Spirit in our lives and our world?
In John 20, Jesus breathes on his disciples and sends them with the same message and ministry that he has been doing. What does that mean for us as Spirit-filled disciples? What does it look like for us to join in with the message and ministry of Jesus?
How can we move in the power of the Spirit in our lives more? Where are we already doing things that are in line with the Spirit?
Pray that you would be equipped by the Spirit to continue the message and ministry of Jesus wherever you fund yourself today.
