Rich kicks off our series on the Sermon on the Mount by looking at Matthew 5:1-5 and the first set of “beatitudes”. He reminds us that the gospel is for everyone, and it’s not a reward but a promise of God being with us, whatever life may throw at us.
If you’ve ever feel like you “fall short” in life, that you’re poor in spirit, or that you need comfort in your mourning, ask God to bring you peace today and a security in His love as He promises to bless us through His presence.
